Two Weeks of Adventure

Outdoor Experiential Education

This the program, designed to give a full adventure experience by engaging mindy, body and hopefully the soul! We couldn't fit it all in one week, we had to re-tool the adventure to encompass a full two weeks. Campers, if they feel so inclined, may book the second session anytime during their two week stay. We focus on: community-developement, mutual respect, personal power and the Unvierse at large.

This camp combines:

• intense socialization skills: supporting positive cooperation

• community development, awareness, politic and communication

• team building: "wet" course, paddle crew, land courses

• leadership skills taught experientially

• interconnectedness presentaiton

• indigineous species in camp presentation

• flora and Fauna fireside presentation

• regional folklore fireside presentaiton

• watershed education: experientially obtained

• music/skits for arts experience

Camp provides heightened learning:

• new voices delivering information = new ears listening

• new environment creates a focused attention

• intense activities create more impressionable minds

• positive, supportive staff set community tone by example

• campers willingly engage the adventures, positive learning

• relationships are formed and strengthend in a healthy manner

• a kind, supportive and safe environment allows students to reach outside their comfort zones to grow exponentially: physically and emotionally

• educators/teachers who book this camp, report their 'class' being closer and more positively engaged after beginning a year with our program

Supervision structure:

We have guides/counselors for the day to day activities: 1 to 7 ratio.  

Activities (dependent on a variety of variables):

• whitewater rafitng - 1, 2 or 3 days

• hiking - nature trails to mountains

• team building - land, raft and 'wet'

• ropes course

• introductory orienteering

• Sampling ARTS: digital, plaster, wood, drama, musical


• evening educational presentations


• discussions

Cost

• $2250 per camper, 14-days / 13-nights
• 20% non-refundable deposit necessary to book your date
• Please call to reserve your date and secure the deposit as soon as possible, the campground we use is very nice and books very quickly, if we do not have a deposit for a specific date, we release the campsite to the general public!
