Cancellations:
Due to permit regulations and space availability, we are forced to deny other rafters once your reservation is received. Thus, cancellations received by written notice, 30-or more days prior to your trip launch date will receive a full refund less the deposit. For all cancellations received with less than 30-days written notice a refund will not be issued. Another party member can be substituted for the cancelling member without loss of monies deposited. Please forward new member’s information immediately as we’ll need to process trip paperwork with that individual.
Cancellation due to Business Decision:
Action Whitewater Adventures reserves the right to cancel any trip due to conditions outside of our control: water, weather or significant safety concerns. Should a cancellation of this nature occur, your money will be fully credited toward another rafting adventure. If we apprise the situation as too dangerous for any given number of reasons, Action Whitewater Adventures reserves the right to substitute another river adventure for the scheduled day with no refund or credit applied. If we are forced to cancel a trip due to lack of people scheduled/booked for a given day, your money will be fully refunded or applied to a future credit, you shall make the determination. All refunds and or credits will be limited to funds actually paid to Action Whitewater Adventures and will not include additional expenses incurred by guests. Additionally, Action Whitewater Adventures reserves the right to deny, any member of a group, access to the day of rafting if safety and or health are a concern (in our years this has only happened a couple of times when a guest demonstrated signs of extreme inebriation). The safety of the entire party must be considered in these personal, one on one, situations. In these cases, NO refunds OR credits are offered or are made available.
Water Notice & Land Use Fee:
Water flows in the South Fork of the American River result from hydroelectric facilities located upstream. Such water releases are not subject to the control of El Dorado County or commercial rafting companies operating under permits from the County of El Dorado.
A 10% land use fee is added to all trips. |
